An established technology relationship
Behind Audi Revolut F1® Team’s on-track ambitions is a complex engineering software environment where reliability matters. The team already uses Elastic technology as the foundation of its central software logging platform; Logstash collects and processes application logs, Elasticsearch makes those logs searchable, and Kibana provides dashboards and analysis. Together, these capabilities help engineers investigate software issues across connected applications. The team also uses Elastic on trackside to investigate logs from wheel-set management software. Unlike a new sponsorship-only relationship, the partnership builds on technology already in use.
Ash Kulkarni, chief executive officer, Elastic: “The motorsport environment may be extreme, but the challenge is familiar to us. When critical operations depend on complex, distributed data, teams need to find what matters, understand what’s happening, and act fast. Audi Revolut F1® Team already uses Elastic to give technical teams one place to search software logs and investigate issues across connected applications. We look forward to building on that work together and exploring how Search and Observability can support more of the team’s engineering environment.”
From engineering complexity to faster answers
The current deployment gives engineers a central place to search application logs, examine patterns and investigate software faster. Building on that foundation, the partnership provides opportunities to explore additional engineering use cases over time. Today, the collaboration focuses on three areas:
- Find what matters, fast, across connected engineering systems. Engineers can centralize software logs from connected applications across the factory and the track, so they can quickly investigate errors, correlate events to find root causes, and determine resolution paths.
- Catch issues before they cost engineering time. With dashboards, alerts and correlated logs, engineers can spot issues that need attention before the race for reliable engineering operations.
- Turn engineering context into faster answers. The team’s central log platform is building a foundation of context, turning events, errors, and patterns into insight.
Stefano Battiston, chief commercial and brand officer, Audi Revolut F1® Team: “We are proud to welcome Elastic for the first time into the fast-moving world of Formula 1. Data is of utmost importance in our sport, and Elastic is a brand that understands this and will help us to excel under pressure. Modern Formula 1 is built on data. Performance comes from finding the right signals in that data, understanding what’s happening across complex systems, and acting quickly. We are excited to be partnering with Elastic and their world-class Search and Observability solutions, allowing our engineers to spot anomalies earlier and investigate faster.”
Partnership Activation
The partnership will be activated at the 2026 United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, October 23–25, with Elastic branding on the Audi R26 halo and headrest.

About Audi Revolut F1 Team
Audi Revolut F1 Team is the official factory team of Audi, as the brand enters the FIA Formula 1 World Championship for the first time in 2026. This project, in which Audi will create its own hybrid drive system (‘power unit’) developed in Germany, represents the ultimate expression of the manufacturer’s ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ philosophy and embodies a long-term commitment to compete at the pinnacle of motorsport with the clear objective of challenging for world championships by 2030. Audi Revolut F1 Team is based in three locations: the power unit is developed by Audi Formula Racing GmbH at the Audi Competence Center Motorsport in Neuburg, Germany; the chassis is engineered and race operations are managed from the state-of-the-art facilities of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland; while the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK in Bicester, United Kingdom, provides a foothold in the heart of ‘Motorsport Valley’, with direct access to top F1 talent and key strategic partners. This integrated structure provides complete control over the project, embedding a culture of precision, innovation, and relentless performance. Audi’s entry is strategically timed to coincide with new Formula 1 regulations focused on increased electrification, as the electric share of the hybrid drive is raised to almost 50%, and the introduction of 100% sustainable fuels. The entry into Formula 1, one of the most important platforms in the world, serves as a high-tech catalyst for the entire Audi brand, acting as a global stage to demonstrate technological leadership and connect with new, diverse audiences by creating cultural impact that resonates far beyond the race track.
